Let's Talk...

Over a Cup of Coffee... Or Ice Tea (in my case)

When I was at the Kent Cornucopia Days, I picked up a Mary Kay products catolog and an AVON catolog. My grandmother sold AVON is I know a little bit more about AVON. I am still trying to decide what facial beauty products to try out. Renee mentioned that she read that one should think more about the products that stay on your face the longest... that's where to put your money. What do you think?

Also, I am also thinking about hair. A year or so ago Darylynn mentioned her shampoo and conditioner that she buys at Costco... so I got it and it really helped me. But does anyone have anything they like? And what about hair coloring?
And another thing... around New Year's Eve we were all losing weight... what are we doing now? How did we do? I am coming up with a new plan. I have more of an issue with exercise so I have to address this situation too besides the watching what I eat. :-(

Hi Danna, you bring up a good point here. At the beginning of the year we all try to make some good resolutions about getting fit and eating healthy, taking care of ourselves etc. And here we are in July.... yes, what are we doing? Well I am still very conscious of the things I eat and try to get a lot more salads and veggies in to us. I'm trying to get back to the gym 3 times a week, I've been slacking in that area. As for my skin care, as I've said I can't really recommend any one things as I tend to use something different every time I need to buy it!
It's cloudy here today, which is a nice break from the hot sun, but still going to be hot!

Haha...I am a little like Denise...I tend to buy different skin care products every time. However, for the last couple of years I've been using Aveeno...it works very well and has a sunscreen in it, so my face never gets burned. Although, about Renee's point...how can you tell how long it stays on your face? I think what's most important is finding something that works with your skin and doesn't clog pores. But I don't really use too much makeup...less is more, right? :)

Hi Danna! I would recommend getting a good glycolic acid product. I get it from my dermatologist and it has SPF 15 (UVA/UVB) with antioxidants and 15% glycolic acid. Retin A at night, too!
