Good Points in "Let's Talk"

Thanks for the responses to my "Let's Talk" yesterday. Instead of just talking at you and telling you about what I do... it is nice to hear from some of you in regards to things we all think about. As far as my progress goes... it has been slow. I realize that there is more to my goals and I am going to have to combine some efforts and find the time at doing some things that I don't usually have time for, it seems. I need more exercise for one thing. Yuck! I know that with most things it takes planning and discipline. I do the planning fine... it is the discipline. In my past once I commit to something I usually stick to it. I see results and then I want to "stick to it" even more. I think that will be our next topic next week; exercise and "sticking to it".

One of the things I did today was to go into Auburn with Lindsey and post posters of our August 1st event at the college. We walked into one store not realizing what the store sold... then I began to get clues while looking around. Island... tea... kangaroo... Hmmm The very tall laid back man began to talk to us about our event and the store. He is Aussie which was a surprise since we were in downtown Auburn, WA. He was so friendly to us that it just makes you want to go back and explore the store. Here is the website.

I would love to tell you all about something that I am considering but if I "don't get it" then I would have to tell you about that too. Plus, I guess it is too premature to say anything. So keep good thoughts and pray for me, and I will let you in on "it" later when I can.

Not much of interest is going on. It seems dull when there isn't anyone getting married, or when I go on a trip, or if someone comes here on a trip, or an event is taking place. I guess it's OK though because we are back to a normal week. It has been warm here in Seattle standards which is the only thing that is news worthy.

So for once I will make this a short post and dazzle you later with something of real news. Like I said, keep your prayers out there for me. It is positive so don't worry. The answer "yes or no" will come soon enough and I will know what the Lord's will is for me in this area of my life.

Good day mates (that was on a sign in the Coffee Island shop)!

Hi Danna! Oh, what shampoo was that? Costco is always changing things. I loved their Giovanni that smelled like mint but that's gone so I've bought Sebastien Laminates lately- also at Costco. Maybe it was the Nexus Humectress and Therappe? I like to change it up- I think it's best for your hair so I keep at least 2 going all the time to switch.

Exercise- find something you enjoy... if not a sport like tennis then go for walks- walk a dog. I'm a big fan of exercise DVD's which you probably know I've written a lot about on my "Fit Forever" pages- link on blog. New studies also confirm my good carbs/good fat South Beach (type) Diet is the best!

Oooh you've got me intrigued now! I will be praying positive news for you whatever it is, and yes I hope you can share soon so we can rejoice with you :-)
I just bought some Pantene shampoo and conditioner (all in one) cos for years I've actually just used Pert Dandruff control which is what my hubby used when I met him! I thought it time I spent a bit more on hair products and get my hair looking shiny and healthier. OH my, what a shock, how many different types of shampoo do Pantene need? There was so many different varieties, it nearly did my head in!!! I bought some Pantene hairspray too instead of my usual cheap 'Suave'!!
Have a lovely weekend
