A Day at the Falls... and Wall-E

We had Monday off and so we spent the last day of their visit here in WA, with Amy and the kids, before they head back to Kansas on Tuesday. Above is Maddy coloring. We took them to Franklin Falls after having breakfast at Dave's mom's house. Below I am taking a picture of everyone on the trail to the falls. Harrison is somewhere...

There he is! He is a great little hiker!

We also stopped at Snoqualmie Falls to check it out. They had never seen a waterfall that tall before!

Later after our hike and view of falls, we went to see the movie Wall-E at the Kent Station. The kids (including Dave) had fun at the water works in the park.

Below are two pictures with Amy and the kids in one on the left, and Eva and Becky (2006) in the other on the right, both taken on the same rock on the Franklin Falls trail. That rock has become a favorite place to take all our visitors from out of state for a picture (if they are hikers).
