Brit (left) ready for the Prom last May!Brittany is growing up... she has taken on many challenges and we know she can do great things. Today mom and Ron are taking her to Santa Barbara to live in the dorms at the college of her choice. She wants to go into Fashion Marketing. Being an ex career specialist at a high school, I know that many of the girls Brit's age want to go into fashion. However, I do know that "our" girls in our family like marketing and advertising. So, I believe that she will go into that subject area whether it is for fashion or otherwise. The best to you Brit on your adventures in college. And, even though you will meet lots of people, remember that it is important to study too. :-) Our prayers are with you as you go.
Today we are preparing for Riley's birthday party tomorrow. I am cleaning (well, trying to with the two boys here) and Kari is getting the final things for the party. I should see Susie later too. She is going to be going to her old church tonight for the women's night at church. She will leave on Tuesday.

Hi Dana, Just got home from Santa Barbara, and moving Brit into her dorm. She has a great roommate named Kate. Her family is from San Marino, near Pasadena. Not so far from us.They got busy today, and also shopped for pictures, curtains, and a rug for their room. The room is turning out just very neat, and I think Kate and Brit are very much alike in their ways. Kate is also ADD, so I think Brit will look into it too! Night for now. Happy Birthday to Riley tomorrow, and I love you all very much. MOM
