Day Trip to Ellensburg!Today is Monday and I have it off again. I am making up time for the Auburn Good Ol Days that I worked. I have pretty much kept up with the hours. For every hour I work on a weekend, I get one and a half hours. It can add up very quickly and so I must use it soon after I earned it so that I don't lose it. When fall comes there is so much to do that we won't be able to take time off.
I am going with Renee to Ellensburg to Central State University. She has an interview at 1 pm. She worked for them for 8 years before she came to work for us. She was unhappy and returned but the job that she returned to was an interim position. Obviously they want her to work for them... she is a superstar. However, Renee is nervous. She wanted support and someone to go over to Ellensburg with, so I am glad to go with her today. We should be back my 4-5 pm. It is only an hour and a half drive there. We will have lunch and go to her interview (well, I will be reading somewhere with a glass of ice tea in my hand or working on a lap top). It should be done by 2 pm and we will be on the road by 3 probably.
Kari and I are getting the kids situated into a daycare and into school too this week. If you are a person of prayer, I am requesting prayer and faith on these situations... Renee's interview and the boy's education situation. Also, Riley has his tonsils out next Tuesday, August 26th. He will be recovering at my house all week. I have taken the week off to care for him and so that Kari can do what she needs to do. She will be starting an internship with a counseling center. All these are prayer requests. I thank you for your prayers regarding these issues and know that all will be well.

Hi Danna! The interview should be over and I hope you're both celebrating! :) Tuesday I'm posting a video of the Dog Beach at Huntington which I'm sure you'll know well. We're off to Mammoth in the morning. Enjoy the week ahead! (((Hugz)))

Hi Danna! By now you will be home after the interview. Hope you had fun traveling with your friend. I will keep your concerns in prayer. Poor Riley - but how very sweet that you are going to celebrate his birthday before surgery, & then have an icecream cake on his birthday. Now THAT is a good Nana!! Hugs!
