Tag... You're IT!

Did you ever play tag when you were a kid? I liked it best when we could play it in the summer time after the sun went down on my street. This reminds me of that summer pleasure as a kids... except I am not hiding. We are playing a game of tag... and I guess we can be tagged a few times. Here is my first go at this:

Six Random Facts

First I have to post the rules….
1) Link to the person who tagged you. Darylynn
2) Post the rules on your blog.
3) Write 6 random things about yourself.

  1. Darylynn mentioned being in a movie with Elvis. I wasn't in a movie however a movie was filmed next door to our house in the 60's. The movie's name was "LUV" and starred Peter Falk and Jack Lemmon. So for a few months, they were our neighbors.
  2. While I was going thru college, I was a school bus driver and hold a commercial license to this day.
  3. When I was a little girl, I was a model. It was probably where I began not to feel intimated by large audiences.
  4. I have been a "RAM", "Viking", "Pirate", "Eagle", "Royal", "Gator", "Panther", "Tiger" and a "Coyote". And probably a few more. Do you know what they are?
  5. Riley and I share the same birthday; August 29. But did you know that I also shared my birthday with my grandmother too. Grandma Nellie died in 1993 and Riley was born in 2003. There has been only 10 years of my life that I didn't share my birthday with my grandmother or with my grandson.
  6. Kari, my daughter, was born on the same day as my grandmother Nellie's first child (Gloria) was born; November 18. And I gave birth to her in the very same hospital in Upland California. Do you think my life might strangely parallels my grandmother's? (She died on July 8th at the age of 89, so don't worry :-)

4) Tag 6 people at the end of your post and link to them.

5) Let each person know they have been tagged, leave a comment on their blog.

6) Let the tagger know when your entry is up.

Judy, Julie, Susan, Tania, Cindy, Joan

I would have tagged Denise if she was around.

Hi Danna! Thanks for playing along! Are those names of school and/or pro sports teams? Very interesting about the parallels with your grandmother. My grandmother lived in Tajunga for a sort time which is a neighbor of Upland. :) My kids are born 3 days (and 3 years) apart and my MIL and I are one day apart. I was born October 12th and hoped Ryan would be born on my birthday- he came 5 days later on the 17th. (((Hugz)))
