I just reserved a rental car online for when we get to Long Beach. I decided that if I was going to get anything done at all I would have to have my own car. Eva lives in Costa Mesa and my mom lives in Downey. I can't expect them to be driving me everywhere I hope to go.Aaron had to use the computer tonight for homework. I had the boys while Kari worked, so I took Riley (while Brady stayed with Dave because he just doesn't "do" circle time well) to the library in his pajamas. They have a story time on Tuesday nights at 7pm for kids... they come in their PJs. The lady read to them three books, sang a few songs, and did a flannel board that went with one of the stories. It was very fun and cute. She also had a puppet that got a hug when the each of the kids received a stamp on their hand before going home. It was only a half hour of fun but Riley loved it. He asked if he could go back again. We picked out 7 stories at the library and brought them home. I read each of the books while we were waitin on Kari to come pick them up (she works near by our house). They could have stayed here but since Riley is only going to California with me, I thought he would like to be home... and Kari would like him home.
James continues to get better. He is healing faster than Kari did with her emergency gallbladder surgery. His was more voluntary... hers was not. She could have died if she hadn't got that taken care of when she did.
I have a list of "to do s" before I leave. I am also trying to get everything wrapped up and packed before tomorrow night. I will put it in the car on Thursday... and once I am out of work that day we will be off and away (that was a flashback to TWA days)
Well, I better get ready for bed now and get some sleep. I will keep a tab of paper next to me to keep writing down things I need to pack or get done by Thursday.
Have a good Wednesday!

Hi Danna,
Can you email me so I can give you my cell number. How long will you be in town? Maybe we can meet for lunch and take our pictures to add to my friends I have met page :)
Hey girlie, I was just poppin in to say hi and see what all you have been up too. Looks like you are getting ready for a trip. I hope you have a good time. I have been reading and catching up with you. Have to tell you, LOVE THE MOM SONG! Also, all the pretty tulip fields.
I hope you get a chance to meet Susan while you are there. How kewl would that be.
Have a safe and wonderful trip. Hugs!
That's great that James is healing well. It does take a while. Did he have keyhole surgery where they bring out the gallbladder through the belly button? That's how mich was done.
What a great idea, story time at the library in their pj's...very good idea. Hope your week is going well.
Big hugs.
