Well, I have managed to find all my missing items. Whew. All accounted for now. Hopefully I can keep it that way.
You know the movie "Ferris Bueller's Day Off"? Well, except for getting into trouble and playing hooky, my day felt like that... On Friday morning I got the kids ready for preschool and got them in the car. I really didn't fix myself up much because I planned to come home right away. I was ok looking but not my usual self. I had been in a rush so I just was dressed without makeup. Dave was home too and up so he decided to go with me. After delivering the kids to school, we decided to do an errand. (I put my makeup on in the parking lot. Good to go.) Then we went for coffee at Starbucks. Then we decided to do another errand which followed with the idea of going to the movies.
So at 11 am we where seeing the newly released National Treasure movie with my passes from the other day. The theater was almost filled completely with people. I thought we might be alone but it wasn't the case at all. After all school is now out. (Oh guess what? We sat in the theater that was flooded the other day. It was vandals. Some teens set it all off. Fans were still drying the carpe) Anyway, great movie. See the first movie first though. This is the second movie and it assumes you know the characters so there isn't any character development. It goes right into the storyline. It also has a conclusion which could lead into another sequel. It was more predictable but very fun to watch.
Next we were hungry. Dave had a gift certificate to the Outback restaurant so off we went to have a early dinner. Two hours later and because we were near the mall, we then went to Borders to look at books.
By this time it was almost time to pick up the boys. Kari called and said she would get the boys so we went on to Home Depot. There wasn't really anything we needed or wanted there. We looked at possible molding to use in the dining area of the kitchen.
After a 12 hour day off just doing and going where we pleased, we finally got home. I finally got to shower. But it was a lovely day.

I thought for sure you were going to run into everyone you knew from school or something- that's what happens to me when I'm not perfectly showered, shampooed, makeup, etc... Pretty photo! WA is always so green and lush! (((Hugz)))
I agree with Darylynn, I always get caught out when I go without makeup and come home vowing I will never leave the house like that again.....well maybe until next time ha ha! Sounds like you guys had a great day.
Yes, every panel of our car was peppered all over (cellulite for cars!) so there would have been hundreds of dents to remove...way too much work so easier for insurance company to just pay us out, take the car and sell it off at auction to try and get some of their money back. We're fine with that, we'll find something nice I'm sure.
Hope you and your loved ones have an awesome Christmas.
hugs 'n blessings,
Julie.
