SusieThis morning we are going to meet Susie and Terry (her husband) at a restaurant near their home on our way down south to go to the wedding. Susie is leaving on Sunday or Monday to move to North Carolina to open a Christian bookstore along with a coffee shop at the church her daughter (and now she will) attend. Susie is one of those people that I have adopted here in Seattle since moving here myself. She has been just like a sister to more... in fact, she has been closer than a sister in the biblical way... she has been there through so many times in my life the past 15 years. The good and the bad. She has influenced my life in so many ways and we have a friendship that just goes on "pause" when we don't see each other for a few weeks. I am sure that is how it will be now that she is moving out of state. But, right now, I can't imagine her not being here. I can't imagine her not being around to possibly go to movie or out to a bite to eat. I have written her a "blessing" too, just like I did for Phillip and Aaron this past week. Her's has been the toughest one to write. She informed me the other day that she has been following my posts here. Susie, if you are reading this, I will have to have you now as a "bloggerette" with my other blogging friends. Have a good trip! I hope to see you soon... Love you!
