Riley's Trip to Disneyland

A Dream Come True

Here are some of the photos of Riley's time at Disneyland. We were able to get to Disneyland around 10 am. The very first thing that he wanted to do was... yes, you guessed it, see Mickey Mouse. On Main Street there is a City Hall and if a person goes there they can ask questions as to what is happening in the park. We were looking for Mickey Mouse. The tour guide told us that he was in his mouse house in Toon Town (which is in the back of the park) so off we went to Toon Town to find his house. We went through his house and found ourselves in his barn waiting to see him.

In line there are MM cartoons playing while a few at time go in to see the Big Cheese. Riley could hardly wait. For some reason, I don't have the pictures right off my camera but luckily they gave me a card that I can go get the picture for free. I will have to do that but for now, here are some pictures of our grandma and Riley Disneyland day:

Riley Driving A ToonTown Trolly!

He isn't picking his nose, he is posing like Goofy in the little statue behind him. :-)

I will get the photo off the website and post it tomorrow and post more about Disneyland. Also, I will tell you more about my trip too including meeting Susan. I have a few days worth of stories for the blog...

Have a Good Day!

Hi Danna! Isn't it fun to relive Disneyland thru Riley's eyes?! Can't wait to experience it with Ryan one of these days. :) Last time I was there, I had Elliot (the mouse) with me and he was looking for Mickey (mouse brotherhood) too and we have a photo of Elliot right in the same spot as your 1st photo. (I'm assuming you know about Elliot?) Looking forward to more pix! (((Hugz)))

How wonderful to have been able to share such a special dream with Riley. I recall so fondly taking our kids to Disney World, and you'll treasure the memory and so will Riley, forever. I'm so pleased that you got to do that.

I hope you are feeling better. Have a wonderful Mother's da on Sunday.

Warm hugs.
