Facebook-Church-And the Movies

Sunday was a lowkey day. The other day at the meeting we were talking about who was on Facebook. I discovered that many of my consortium coworkers are online now (and they are my age). I had made a profile but had not done much learning about it since that day. I have been a bit more interested in blogging and figuring that all out.

I had come across Darylynn's blog when I was homesick one day. I wasn't really looking for a blog or anything. I just started to read about someone my age that lived where I had come from. It was winter so I was a little blue and her posts would make me feel not so homesick. I then noticed the comments that everyone was leaving and the connections they were making. This was all new to me. I had no idea that social communication from all over the world was happening.

No sooner did we update our computer, Aaron came home and had an assignment of creating a blog on Blogger for his English class. They were to do all their assignments there... the whole class. Of course, I became interested. I had just read that Denise had changed over to Blogger. I had Aaron show me what to do and I have been learning ever since.

Yesterday church was really great and I am going to read a chapter of Ephesians each day this week. There are only 6 chapters so that will work out nicely.

Dave and I went to see "Leatherheads" yesterday with George Clooney and Renee Zellweger which was a fun movie. I don't know if it got great reviews here. I guess in Syndey Morning Herald it didn't fair so well.

Have a great week... Happy Monday!

Ephesians are great. My late father-in-law loved to preach from Ephesians.

I totally agree, blogging is wonderful and I too have met so many wonderful people on here. It's not any kind of a group that we've joined, but somehow we have this whole network of ladies who have gotten to know each other, to share each others ups and downs from all corners of the earth, and it's wonderful. Some were my customers and then became my friends which has been really nice also. What a great idea to have kids do their homework using blogger, then the teacher can just get on-line and read it, as can the other kids. My, things sure have changed since we went to school!

Have a great evening. Tootles.
