Pajamarama - Storytime

Riley dancing and singing with storyteller at the library.

Brady (the boy sitting next to the little girl on the left of her) gets really into the story and loves to be right up front.

Pajamarama" is something we started to do a few weeks ago on Tuesday nights. The kids wear their PJs to storytime so that they can go to bed right afterwards when they get home. The story lady tells at least 5 stories to them. Riley must have at least 30 mins of stories read to him a week. So this is added to his homework sheet to turn in to his teacher. She also will do games or sing songs with them. It is a lot of fun and they love it. They also love picking out the books that I or their mom will read them the rest of the week. We also get videos.

One of the funny moments I had there this week was when we passed by the magazines. Riley saw magazines that I would like to read. He spotted ones with pumpkins etc such as "Good Housekeeping". Riley is like that... is is observant and knows what everyone wants or likes around him. He said "Grandma, this one is for you!". I said "thanks, but I have plenty to read at home". Brady passed by a car magazine. His head took a double take as he saw the sleek red car on front. "Wow" he said and grabbed that magazine for himself. He doesn't read yet but even at 3 years old he know what he likes. I believe Brady will be like most men and always love cars.

That is a fun and wonderful idea for the kids to get to go to the library in their PJ's. Kinda makes it extra special. Great pics, and I can see he's happy to be there, totally engrosed in the story.

Please if you think of it, can you pray for my brother. He's in his final days with his long battle with cancer. Thanks sweetie.

I hope you have a really lovely weekend. Warm hugs.
