The Puyallup Fair And the First Week of School

These are the pictures of me trying to get a photo of Riley and Brady their first week of school... well, really the second day. The first day set didn't turn out. And as you can see, they can't stand still for a photo. They are always looking around or moving from their place. So I figured that these photos would tell the story. Besides, in this picture their backpacks are lighter and they aren't in fear of falling over.

Today marks the first day of the Puyallup Fair. Lindsey and I will be working at the community college booth. Our college will host the booth for four days. Yesterday I was so tired from being out until late. I couldn't sleep and when I did I only got about 3 hours of sleep. Now tonight I will be out again until 11-12 pm at the fair. But, it will also be fun. I am in charge of getting the Puyallup Fair tickets to everyone that worked at at fair this year. Also, we have been trying to make sure the concert tickets will be used that the college buys... which is a chore and I hate it. We put out an invitation for free concert tickets and we don't get many that will take us up on it. We get the tickets late... there is a lot to it. I left the tickets for next week's concerts at the office with the others to deal with and hopefully they will be able to get more people to go.

This weekend is the fair, brunch with Aunt Butchie at Salty's, and a birthday party for Christian (Renee's little boy that turns five). It will be so busy this weekend that I won't be able to go to church. I am very thankful that Riley's 10 days after his tonsils being taken out is over, that the first week of school is over, and that the week has been very productive. I will try hard to "coast" a little and take time for myself here and there.

The boys look so cute, hope they have a fun week at school.
And hope all goes well at your fair. I'm glad it's Friday I'm so tired in the mornings getting up at 6am. Thankfully I feel ok once I'm fully away (round about 9am)!!
Have a great weekend.

Good Morning, The boys look terrific. I am also glad it is Friday. Went to my doll club last night, and got home late. We had slides of French dolls, from the 1800's. Was very interesting. Some of those dolls today are worth $8,000. Hard to believe Huh? Talk to you later. Love Mom

Hi Danna, You are so sweet to think about me and my family during Hurricane Gustav...I really do appreciate your thoughtfulness. We have no damage at our home, just a mass of leaves and small branches from the trees. We were lucky with the electricity..it wasn't long before it came back on. My daughter Michelle still does not have electricity, but she does have a generator so she has some power. Kelly lost everything in her refrigerator due to being without power. Evacuating is a nightmare and an expense, but what are you going to do? (((hugs)))

Great photos and it's hard to get boys to pose anyway. :) Our friends are up on one of the San Juan Islands this week. Hope the weather is nice for them but Liz is from England so she can take it less than perfect. Not like me! ;) Enjoy the weekend! (((Hugz)))

Hi Danna,
The boys look great for their 2nd day of school. Ahhh... I remember those days, lol. My Mom still took pictures of my 1st day back even when I was in high school!

I hope you get some rest too - I know what it is like to not be able to sleep. The extra "bump" on my front is making it more difficult by the day, lol.

That's so neat that you delievered on your due date - I have honestly never heard of anyone be right on the date. I know my sister wants me a to be a few days late (she's hoping for the 27th - her birthday!).

Have a wonderful weekend!
