Short Weekend

It seems like it was such a short weekend because we were so busy. Easter Sunday we dressed for church and went out for breakfast. Nothing exciting... I had oatmeal to keep from eatting things I shouldn't. The church that Susie attends, Faith and Victory Church, doesn't have childcare today so we decided to attend a different church in the area that we have heard of called Riverview Community Church. With kids that are ADHD, not having childcare is really hard on us. Also since Kari (and probably me too) has ADHD, she gets overwhelmed... so it is best just to try to do things that will only benefit everyone.

I have pictures to share but I will have to post them later. I am getting ready to go to another college's Spring Tour, only I am a presenter this time. I will be at that college until 12:30 pm today.

I had Riley over night and he doesn't have daycare today since they have teacher training. I will have to drop him off at Kari's on my way to the college (which happens to be a mile away from her place).

Hi Danna,
I am glad that you had a nice Easter! I love going to Easter Egg Hunts. The town we live in used to do one big one every year and I believe I was 5 at the time but I won 1st prize and got a 5 foot chocolate bunny! It took us 2 years to eat it all too...

Oh I know not going to stress out about the whole situation with my Mom and sister. They did it not be mean or secretive it was a surprise for sure. And now that it seems she is coming around more, I will see Jordan more so I can then just do more things with her and Chloe too. I love them both to bits and it kills me that I can't ever see them as much as I would like. I am going to have to work on getting over there and making it known that I want to see them more often.

NBCC stands for New Beginnings Community Church. We had a very nice Easter, but girl, I was so tired on Monday and even today I had to come home from work and take a nap.

Good Morning Danna!
I am the biggest optimist in my family so I do always try to have good thoughts and see the good in everything. It doesn't happen all the time and sometimes, it the "bad thoughts" all come out at once or about the same thing over and over again and it makes me question myself.

I am not sure if you have ever watched watched the show Moment of Thruth (I think it's called that - I have actually never watched it myself) - the people I work with were talking about it one day. After answering all their questions, devistating her husband - ruining her marriage and just about to win all the money - they asked her if she felt she was a good person. She said yes and lost it all. I am always questioning if I am a "good person". I like to think I am, lol.
