Des Moines Pier

I am experimenting... like I mentioned yesterday, I said I would try to post these pictures of the view I saw from the park in Des Moines, WA which is near the Puget Sound. I wanted these to be next to each other to get the whole picture but it didn't work. You will see the pier first above...

then I believe one of the islands (in the water here is where I saw the seals),

and above you will look west towards Bremerton (where the Navy is located) with the Olympic Mountains covered with snow (which you can barely see on the horizon... looks like clouds but it is mountains),

and then the shoreline looking north. I don't know how these will post but we will see. Remember, I am learning... If I could hook them together you would have a big view like the one I saw standing there.

Hugs everyone!

Hi Danna! I get the ideas of the photo. I know my camera can do panoramas but I can never rememeber how to do it. It's hailing here right now. Little balls are bouncing off our balcony but they're melting right away. A little excitment for SoCal- the weathermen will be besides themselves! LOL!

Excuse the typos and grammar! I gotta slow down! ;)

Hi Danna, Enjoyed the pictures! We were cold here today and had rain all day. Mardi Gras gets into full swing tomorrow night...it's very early this year. Enjoy your weekend!

The pictures look very pretty. It's supposed to warm up for us this weekend, which I'm glad about as I have not been able to keep warm this week!
Enjoy your Friday.
hugs Denise

We've had tornado warnings the last two nights in our area. One touched down in Oxnard- west of us. Can't you just see me herding all 5 animals down to our family room? We live in a trilevel so that would be the closest we have to a basement! Enjoy the weekend! (((Hugz)))
