Wanted: Ark

I know I am talking a lot about weather but we are getting a lot of unusual weather. Yes it rains here yet we can walk around in normal Seattle without an umbrella (bumpershoot). Not so at the moment. We will have our best rain gear on today.

When I came to live here it amazed me that houses still were built, roads still are worked on, and children not only went to school but played sports in the rain! In CA that wasn't the case. Everything stops there if it rains. I would have "rainy day sessions" which meant going home early. And when I was a teen I could wear pants rather than a dress to school. We can't do that here for rain although I think today would qualify for special adjustments. We act that way more with snow because it isn't what we are use to, and we have hills.

Back to work today. More about that later.

Well, yes, in Seattle you would need to press on in the rain or else nothing would get accomplished! And yes, we are rain wimps in SoCal! Did you get any snow? Another blog friend from Washington (just N of Seattle) talked about a little snow. Maybe she's in a higher elevation. (((Hugz)))
