City of Seattle Event

Seattle - Space Needle

Well, today I have a City of Seattle event with the consortium. This requires making it in traffic to Seattle, finding a parking spot, and then draging all my stuff wherever the event is located... which I have not been before today. That is always fun (not). I will take my camera with me and take some photos to share with you on the next post. Wish me the best ladies! This picture is most likely from the Queen Anne Hill in Seattle. Later... Hugs

AMEN!

I didn't have an event today so I was at the college all day. I felt a little in the fog all day. I went home for lunch and then went back, taking my time as I went. Finally the day ended. I felt really tired for some reason. I will not blame it on a week old time change... how about Spring Fever. It is almost Spring. Technology it arrives for us on Thursday. Tomorrow is the last and finally day of Winter. Can I hear an AMEN! HUGS

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Just a quick "catch up" post and to wish you a "lucky" day. I am taking Irish soda bread to work with me today for a treat for everyone. I have Irish in my heritage on my dad's side. My grandmother was full Irish, although she never saw Ireland. ;-) Please see the photos from the weekend on my Sunday post. HUGS

First Sunday Snapshots

Entrance to The Roaring River B&B

24 Hours... and we are back. But we had a great time. For my Sunday Snapshots (Jules idea) here are some views and places we were at:The river from the property along with their hot house.

The front door of our room.

Photo of the river on our hike.

A younger tree growing from the mother tree's stump on the trail.

More of the trail and the moss on the trees.

Twin Falls
(See the big falls and the smaller falls farther back at the top?)

The Roaring River B & B

The Roaring River Bed and Breakfast

Today we will head to North Bend to the Bed and Breakfast that we stayed at when we got married. The name of the B and B is The Roaring River... named so because a river is right there next to it. Here is it's description:

The Roaring River Bed and Breakfast is situated on 2.6 Acres on the Middle Fork of the Snoqualmie River outside of North Bend, WA. It has a spectacular view of the river, mountains, forests, and occasional wildlife. The wonderful sound of the river is constant and will lull you into a blissful sleep each evening.
You can just click on the name to see the website. I will take pictures too of what we see although the website does a good job. We'll be in the Tall Firs Room this time... the first time we were in the Rock and Rose Room, and then another time in the Bear Iris Room. I am making my way around to all the rooms. The cabin would be fun to stay at too.

I have plans today to get the guys hair cut and to get some things around the house done before we take off. Yesterday I went out and got a lot of Easter goodies for the little guys Easter baskets. I will try putting those together soon and post a picture of what I did.

I will post again later on Sunday. I want to get my posts up to where they are posting the day you are reading them. Hugs... See you later.
